This intense class is designed to push you harder than you will push yourself! Using a variety of athletic drills, exercise patterns and resistance training, it will improve muscle strength and endurance and give you a total body workout.

Beginner Indoor Cycling

Even though it’s group exercise, indoor cycling is ultimately each individual’s own ride. We’ve labeled this class “Beginner” and kept it at 30 minutes, but this workout can be modified and will be effective for any fitness level. You get to control your intensity using resistance on a specially designed stationary bike while Amie gives you instruction and encourages you to do your best!

This class simulates outdoor cycling on a specially designed stationary bike. You control your intensity using resistance. It is an effective way to burn fat, build energy, and reduce stress.

Repeated bouts of short duration, high-intensity exercise intervals with periods of lower intensity intervals of active recovery – coupled with intense core work. This workout is great for getting the job done and getting on with your busy evening!

This non-aerobic workout is designed to challenge your body to change! Using various types of resistance like body bars, hand weights, bands and your own body weight, Kara will help you increase strength and improve muscle definition. This is a full body strength training class. We recommend that you choose two non-consecutive days to participate.

POUND provides the perfect atmosphere for letting loose, getting energized, toning up and rockin’ out! You become the music in this exhilarating full-body workout that combines cardio, conditioning and strength training. The workout is easily modifiable and the alternative vibe and welcoming philosophy appeals to men and women of all ages and abilities.

Zumba takes the “work” out of workout, by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party. Grab some friends and get to this fun yet effective class!

HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) class mixes repeated bouts of short duration, high-intensity exercise intervals with periods of lower intensity intervals of active recovery or rest. Start your day with this class and check “get a great workout” off of your list first thing in the morning!

Glutes & Core

Your glutes and core need to be trained together for more than just aesthetic reasons. They’re responsible for proper pelvic alignment, taking pressure off of the lower back, athletic performance… and list goes on. It’s no wonder these muscles need some extra attention! In this class, Kara will lead you through a series of intense exercises that will help you perfect your form—but only if you get up and get your bum to class!

Introduction to Tai Chi

This class is a pre-requisite for our 9:15 a.m. Tai Chi class. Alice will introduce you to the basics of Tai Chi and will give additional information and verbal cues for practicing the movements correctly until you are ready for the consistent flow of a regular class.

Tai Chi involves a series of movements performed in a slow, focused manner and accompanied by deep breathing. It is a noncompetitive, self-paced system of gentle physical exercise and stretching. Each posture flows into the next without pause, ensuring that your body is in constant motion.

Drawing upon traditional yoga movements, this class is designed to be a practice in linking breath and movement to strengthen and stretch the entire body. All fitness levels are welcome!

Power Yoga

This class presents traditional yoga moves to increase flexibility, strength, muscle endurance, and balance through specific poses and patterned breathing. Somewhat more advanced than our basic Yoga class, Power Yoga is suited for the participant who is ready for the challenge of a faster pace.

VeraFlow is a fun way of introducing flexibility and mobility training. Set to beautiful music, the class starts with a warm up, progresses through standing routines then moves to the floor for continued stretching. It will end with a mindfulness practice and get you ready to start your day.

SilverSneakers Yoga

SilverSneakers Yoga will move your whole body through a complete series of seated and standing yoga poses. Chair support is offered to safely perform a variety of seated and standing postures designed to increase flexibility, balance and range of movement. Restorative breathing exercises and final relaxation will promote stress reduction and mental clarity.

SilverSneakers Classic

This is a chair based class that encourages older adults to get up and move. This is a high energy, but low impact class designed to get you motivated!
