Class information below is for Session 3, which runs from 04/15/24-05/31/24.
Session 3 is open for registration to members starting 04/01/24 and 04/08/24 for nonmembers. Register online or at the front desk.
Classes are free to members.
There is $10 drop-in day pass available to nonmembers to give a class a try - this pass also gives you access to the rest of the Y for the day. Full session nonmember rates are available if you want to try a full class while not becoming a member.
Session 3 Class Offerings & Times
A full hour workout beginning with 20 minutes of aerobic conditioning, 20 minute circuit strength and 20 minutes core conditioning. Suitable for all levels of participation.

Body conditioning using a variety of resistance equipment including dumbbells, bands and body weight. Strong focus on core.

Move your whole body through a complete series of seated and standing yoga poses. Chair support is offered to safely perform a variety of seated and standing postures designed to increase flexibility, balance, and range of movement.

Full-body strength training with short rest intervals for those who want to see a change in muscle tone & definition. Dumbbells & weight bars will be utilized for this class. We’ll target different muscle groups for a quick yet highly effective full-body workout. Burn fat & build muscle with circuits designed for beginner & advanced.

Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises to increase strength, range of motion, and daily living skills. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing, and balls are offered for resistance, along with a chair for standing and seated support.

Tai Chi involves a series of movements performed in a slow, focused manner and is accompanied by deep breathing. It is a noncompetitive, self-paced system of gentle physical exercise and stretching. Each posture flows into the nest without a pause, ensuring that your body is in constant motion.
