Group Fitness

Class information below is for Session 2, which runs from 02/26/24-04/12/24.

Session 2 is open for registration to members starting 02/12/24 and 02/19/24 for nonmembers. Register online or at the front desk.

Classes are free to members.

There is $10 drop-in day pass available to nonmembers to give a class a try - this pass also gives you access to the rest of the Y for the day. Full session nonmember rates are available if you want to try a full class while not becoming a member.

Session 2 Class Offerings & Times

20/20/20

A full hour workout beginning with 20 minutes of aerobic conditioning, 20 minute circuit strength and 20 minutes core conditioning. Suitable for all levels of participation.

Body Sculpt

Body conditioning using a variety of resistance equipment including dumbbells, bands and body weight. Strong focus on core.

Boot Camp

Challenge yourself with a circuit style work out. All levels of participation welcome.

Chair Yoga

Move your whole body through a complete series of seated and standing yoga poses. Chair support is offered to safely perform a variety of seated and standing postures designed to increase flexibility, balance, and range of movement.

Circuit Strength

Full-body strength training with short rest intervals for those who want to see a change in muscle tone & definition. Dumbbells & weight bars will be utilized for this class. We’ll target different muscle groups for a quick yet highly effective full-body workout. Burn fat & build muscle with circuits designed for beginner & advanced.

Cycle 30

Musical spin session includes warm up and cool down. Your ride. Your space. Your intensity. Period. All levels of participation welcome.

Hand Weight Fitness

Body toning and core workout with light or moderate weights to create your own intensity.

Indoor Cycling

This class simulates outdoor cycling on a specially designed stationary bike. You control the intensity using resistance. It is an effective way to burn fat, build energy, and reduce stress.

Pound Fitness

Channel your inner rock star with this full-body cardio-jam session inspired by infectious, sweat dripping fun of playing the drums. Instead of listening to the music, you BECOME the music in this exhilarating workout combining cardio & strength training with yoga & pilates-inspired movements! Silver Sneakers Classic

Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises to increase strength, range of motion, and daily living skills. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing, and balls are offered for resistance, along with a chair for standing and seated support.

Tai Chi

Tai Chi involves a series of movements performed in a slow, focused manner and is accompanied by deep breathing. It is a noncompetitive, self-paced system of gentle physical exercise and stretching. Each posture flows into the nest without a pause, ensuring that your body is in constant motion.
