NEW! Water Running – Bev Davies

Tues. & Thurs. 6:10-7:00PM
A no-impact and high intensity program which emphasizes cardiovascular strength and endurance. Classes are held in deep water and participants will use flotation belts. No swimming skills are necessary. This program will be of particular benefit to runners and other active exercisers who are looking for a challenging workout as a no impact alternative to conditioning on land.

Silver Splash! – Helen Fisher

Mon & Wed. 9:00-9:45AM
This is a great water aerobics class that encourages older adults to get up and move. It uses kickboards as resistance and is high energy, but low impact designed to get you moving!

Arthritis Aerobics – Helen Fisher

Mon., Wed., & Fri. 11:00-11:45AM
Shallow water class designed to keep those with arthritis active and mobile. There is little or no stress on the joints and the water temperature is just right!


Swimming Lessons

Preschool Lessons (Age 3-5)

Stage 1 – Water Acclimation

Increases comfort with underwater exploration and introduces basic self-rescue skills performed with assistance.

Wednesdays – 5:30 PM

Stage 2 – Water Movement

Encourages forward
movement in water and basic self-rescue skills performed independently.

Wednesdays – 6:15PM

Stage 5 – Stroke Development

Works on stroke technique and teaches all major competitive strokes.  The emphasis on water safety continues through treading water and side stroke.

School Age Lessons (Age 6-9)

Stage 3 – Water Stamina

Develops intermediate self-rescue skills performed at longer distances than in previous stages.

Thursdays – 5:30PM

Stage 4 – Stroke Introduction

Introduces basic stroke technique in front crawl and back crawl and reinforces water safety through treading water and elementary backstroke.

Thursdays – 6:15PM

Stage 6 – Stroke Mechanics

Refines stroke technique.  Discover how to incorporate swimming into a healthy lifestyle.

Parent/Child Swim Lessons –

Ages 6 months to 2 years 11 months.  This class is for children with little or no water experience.  The class includes safety entering the water, water adjustment and educational playtime.  Parent participation required.

Specialty Aquatics Classes


For young swimmers looking to gain swimming strength, endurance and confidence in their swimming ability.

It’s also great for kids who want to compete on a swim team.

Before entering the program, swimmers must be able to swim the width of the pool, above water using a basic stroke (freestyle/front crawl.)

During the course of the program the swimmers will be introduced to and improve upon kicking, breathing technique , and all 4 stroke techniques.

The class is designed to build upon skills learned in the previous weeks, so attendance each week is required and necessary for achieving their goals.
